Built in 1950, the guest house provides good value simple budget accommodation in the heart of Glasgow city centre. It comprises a total of 81 rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a TV lounge with no-smoking area, a breakfast/dining room, WLAN Internet access and a car park.

From Glasgow Airport: go east from Caledonia Way, bear right at Caledonia Way East. At Saint Andrew's Drive, take the 2nd exit onto White Cart Road. At Sanderling Road, take the 2nd exit onto Sanderling Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit into the entry ramp. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit into the entry ramp to Edinburgh, Glasgow -M8. Merge into M8. Take the A82 exit to Dumbarton. Bear left onto the ramp to Aberfoyle/A81. Turn left at Saint George's Road then turn left at Sauchiehall Street, turn left at Garnet Street, turn left at Buccleuch Street, continue on Renfrew Street, arrive at McLays G3 6TT.
