The ALTAMIRA is a Tourist hotel. Located in SANTILLANA DEL MAR area. Shopping is accessible by bus/taxi and the nightlife/restaurants are easily accessible by taxi or bus from the hotel.

Palace rebuilt in the nineteenth century, though its origin dates back to the year 1521 (XVI century), being at that time Don Juan de Valdivielso the clerk of the town. It has the shield on the corner and has a door wall with three towers. The restaurant Altamira is a classic mountain cuisine with over 40 years of history. There are three dining rooms decorated in tune with the rest of the building. It was in 1960 when it becomes Hotel Altamira and its interior is suited for it without altering its main architectural elements, while retaining its spectacular wooden staircase rises to the upper floors, the lobby with its stone floor and staircase river stone and impressive beams and stone walls.
