The hotel is named after the Roman street Claudia Augusta, which united the ancient city of Altino with Germany and passed through the hotel's grounds. Renovated in 2000, this hotel lies on 3 hectares of private park area, which is owned and run by the same family. The hotel features typical details from the ancient Venetian era. The fireplace was once the former focus of domestic activity and is now part of the foyer. The River Sile runs by the large gardens. Guests will find an attractive spot for a picnic by the river. From here, guests have the opportunity to reach St Mark's Square by boat.
