The Marelen Hotel is situated just 100 metres from the beach and 200 metres from the main street in the village of Kalamaki, on the southeastern side of Zakynthos (Zante) Island. Kalamaki's Beach is an area of great ecological importance because the protected Caretta Caretta turtles come here to lay their eggs. There are plenty of shops, tavernas and restaurants within a few hundred metres of the hotel.
